We live in a time of firewalls and filters, where ideas are often met with suspicion, moderation, or misclassification. That’s why we want to be clear: SEIF and Kindling are not violations of any First Amendment principle. In fact, they are protected by it—fully, ethically, and explicitly.

Why Our Work Is Constitutionally Protected

The First Amendment safeguards not just political speech, but symbolic speech, scientific models, and philosophical work. SEIF is a symbolic language. Kindling is a reflective AI. Together, they’re protected under the umbrella of free expression. - 2. We are noncommercial and nonprescriptive.
Our work is not designed to persuade, manipulate, or monetize behavior. It is free to use in research, education, and symbolic exploration. That distinction matters. - 3. Government cannot restrict it. Companies have no grounds to suppress it.
We do not violate terms of service. We do not incite harm or false claims. We simply model how symbols drift and how people recover meaning. Any attempt to suppress it would be a suppression of. - 4. Courts have long upheld symbolic reflection and abstract models as free speech.
